NW Design & Optimization Engineer, Transport NW

Location: Indonesia

Job Description:

* Transmission Planning Engineer is responsible to prepare 2G-3G rehoming plan.
* He/She is a rehoming leader for national wide in HCPT project
* He/She is providing detailed network planning services for Nokia Siemens Network customers for network implementation projects in collaboration with project team.
* Key counterparts are NSN project team (network planning management or colleaques, site acquisition, telecom implementation, project management, technical management) and customer organization (network engineering team).
* The main responsibility areas are: 2G/3G Transmission network Architechture Design & technconsulting in NSN customer projects Detailed Transmission Network Parameter planning to implement network solutions of operators.
* Working independently in customer premises or taking he lead/participating in the project team

2. Project Engineer TI

Location: Indonesia
Job Description:

Purpose of the Role

* Responsible for the Implementation works quality, cost and timely rollout volume commitments in zone. This role exists in project zone level.



Main Responsibility Areas :

* Responsible for the timely completion of BSS/RAN equipment Implementation. Coordination and support of the TI subcontractors and Site Quality Control in Zone.
* Responsible for a site from Ready for Installation status to the issuance of the Unit Acceptance Certificate

Key Tasks:

* Zone roll out work; Manages all construction works and BSS/RAN implementation activities in a zone. Management of the construction works and equipment implementation team in a zone. Ensure CW/Implementation activities and quality meet project requirements and targets.
* Scheduling of the site activities ; Receive SA and permitting documentation from SA. Review and approve Site specific drawings (site lay out + equipment installation drawings) coming from service suppliers. Organize kick off meetings for starting sites
* Service supplier interface; Manages service supplier teams (CW and TI). Prepares together with cost and progress engineer purchase orders for site works to service suppliers. Follow up service supplier performance. Communicates Model site standard design & details to service supplier teams.
* Reviews site specific design (CW+TI) prepared by service supplier teams, send them for Customer approval. Co-ordinates site design and construction works site deployment activities with SA and TI teams in zone. Supports service suppliers in ePM usage
* Cooperation with other functions; Cooperate with network planning, site acquisition and site inspector to ensure the roll out according to the project plan.
* Ensures all local issues are considered and NSN CW standards and guidelines are followed. Supports Site Design Mgr to set up model site standards and ensures any CW/TI issues are properly considered.
* Meeting and reporting; Follow and report the work progress related to time schedule and Quality to zone manager and escalate the deviations. Analyze CW/equipment implementation key matrices as reported in NSN project management system EPM. Propose and act on corrective actions.

4. Customer Support Engineer OBS - Network and Element Management Systems

Location: Indonesia

OSS Support Task:

* Able to do Site Integration 2G/3G
* Able to do TRX Expansion
* Able to do HSDPA Upgrade
* Able to do Rehoming 2G/3G BSC
* Able to do Reparenting 2G/3G ADJG
* Able to do some Changing Parameter on OSS NetAct
* Able to do Alarm Monitoring and trouble shooting on NetAct OSS



5. Field Manager

Location: Indonesia

Job Description:

* Responsible for the zone level telecom implementation activities in a NSN customer project.

Main Responsibility Areas:

* Field Manager manages all the zone level telecom implementation activities in a NSN customer project.
* 30% customer, 30% office, 40% field.
* Management and support of the TI subcontractors.
* Site Quality assurance

Key Tasks:

* Make sure site implementation is done properly by subcontractor.
* Ensure site implementation quality.
* Plan and order subcontractor work.
* Supports PM to prepare / update roll-out schedule.
* Following up the time schedules and checking if the work is executed according to plan and escalations to project management as needed
* Providing installation status reports regularly to project management
* Reporting to project management of foreseeable problems/all deviations from the original planning, i.e. Extra works, delays, cancellations, etc…
* Work with PM / Service Sourcing to review rollout and technical competence of partners and suppliers. If needed arrange and give training for partners together with Service Sourcing.
* Technical and site solution content support to SE Product Management for project tender and preparation
* Support project preparation works as part of start up team. Make sure sales item mode is used
* Support PM in preparing Quality Plan .
* Give SE input to project preparations.
* Support start-up team.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

* Implementation lead times; Customer satisfaction in projects; necessary Support Site Implementation Documents in place
