IT/Database Specialist

The tasks of the IT/Database Specialist will be as follows:
a. Assist the Knowledge Management Coordinator on matters related the information technology and project database
b. Design, implement and maintain IT network and the interface with its stakeholders;
c. Design and maintain an automated computerized database, including:
o General Monitoring and Reporting of activities
o Local and international consultants
o Implementation related activities in Indonesia
o Electronic library containing materials or references
d. Design and maintain website.

Required Qualifications

The IT/Database Specialist is expected to possess the following task¬ specific experience and capabilities:

a. Bachelor’s degree in engineering or
computer science with at least 7 years of relevant experience; an additional master’s degree (S-2) in management will be an advantage.
b. Experience in public sector projects with at least 3 years experience in database management.
c. Ability to use database applications (e.g. Oracle, MS Access etc.), project monitoring applications (e.g. MS Project), and web authoring applications (e.g. MacroMedia Dream Weaves, Front Page etc.).
d. Sound English language capability (written and spoken), presentation, and report writing skills.
e. Proven ability to work independently with limited supervision and to operate effectively in a team environment.
